That armaments have a similar effect on other unsavory elements is a bonus. It certainly isn't entertainment or the media in my case - my TV broke down in '58, I see about 1 movie every five years and I own no video games. (IOW the content has gone to CRAP) Trash TV isn;t worth the time it gets, my wife is completely HOOKED on it. Just tonight I saw a fascinating program on the Bismarck - James Cameron (Titanic) took a mini-sub and camera and scouted the wreck. One of a handful of survivors was onboard. For the first time, the fateful Swordfish torpedo strike was documented. No single piece of ordnance did more to win the war. There is tons of great stuff of TV, and even some decent entertainment once in a blue moon. And of course, football baseball and hockey :) -drl
