I was long resistant to the reality that there is a strict "you pay enough, maybe you might get sex" protocol with women. I suppose it just confused them that I didn't make that connection clearly enough. So, a lot of my life I've been mislead with "unrealistically romantic ideas about relationship" (which a woman recently accused me of). This last bastion against all=pervasive cynicism too must fall then. "Pay your money and hope for sex" is how the lady biologist says it works, and I guess she would know. That's a guy thing. As for romance and partnership- I'm all for it. And why make me the relationship expert?
