And, as you can see, I spoke in your defense, and said I would support it being deleted. I've read most of your posts, and I've read most of the replies to your posts. Some of your posts are good, some not so good. Same with the replies. I've especially followed the depression postings. My wife suffers from depression, and refused to acknowledge it or seek treatment. Other than Stryfe, I've not seek any other such direct attacks. I've seen you get slammed for "bad" posts, and I've seen you slam others in return. For the most part, I think that this is a community of which you are a part. And I think that most of the community accepts you for who you are. But when you start to retaliate, to a direct attack, by attacking every member of the community, then you do everyone a disservice, and discredit yourself. In Scott's defense, I think he is doing a great job running this site. I'd have deleted Stryfe's post, but Scott's reasoning, for not deleting posts, is valid and should be respected. Doesn't mean you have to like his reasons. Nobody, with the possible exception of Stryfe, hates you, wants to "get" you. He, Stryfe, tried to provoke you, and it worked. Best thing you can do is to ignore him. I did and I'm sure the other members of our community have done the same. Go back to posting thoughtful, intelligent, humorous and readable posts. The only gaps you will find are those created when the database interface library went south and we had the 'posts that are too long go into never-never land' bug. That interregnum will be quite plainly demarcated by the test posts. Or, come up with the supposed post content and we'll employ the search tool. You forget that I know about these things. CMSOPEN had a utility called KEYFIX that any idiot could run that renumbered identity or autonumber or whatever you call the columns that had the numbers in them and filled in the gaps. So when you did the fix for the "database interface library" you renumbered the posts, after removing a few, admit it! It was all a cover-up! *My God is not cruel, sorry about yours.*

I've had my depression for 30 years now and it keeps getting worse. I've seen friends and family around me get sick and die. When reality doesn't suffice, he invents enemies out of whatever scraps he can find - the more enemies the better - real enemies (in short supply), fabricated enemies or imaginary enemies are all good so long as he can whine about them. Threats of suicide are just a cheap trick to get attention, as is suicide itself. Preferably you survive (lots of attention), but if you don't, you go out enjoying the remourse you imagine the world will have for not having treated you better. The cure for suicide is the realization the world isn't going to have one molecule of remorse - it's just going to be slightly annoyed that you left it with the bother of disposing of the remains of a moron who wallowed in his own stink.
