Faith and Science

Science as a method for understanding the world depends on certain assumptions

the universe runs on certain laws
things that are repeatable are more real than those that are not
things that are demonstrable are better than those that are not

these must be taken on faith or else you can be a scientist

I've got nothing against science but its supporters often fail to recognize its limits

the 'faith' involved in faith is well known and needs no further discussion
I doubt if faith and science meet very often
