Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Waiting is the hardest part...
I have 5 leads for excellent positions, gotten letters saying I am in the first round... or they are interested... I have called them all twice a week for 4 weeks... They all are saying "Yep, we haven't even looked at filling that position yet."

GEEEEEEEEZ!

Working on side-jobs and putting together a new box, for a pet project... announcements coming soon... devoting alot of time "delving into programming" I HATE PROGRAMMING... but I have been playing with Squeak and GNU Smalltalk and a Teach yourself "C" in 21 Days... 1200 Page book... I ahve had it for ~6 years... and I am just reading it... Heck, I even taught another person how to use arrays in Perl... So Perl is doing new things for me.

Also, cracking the Web-Development the Manual way. I HATE stupid bloated XHTML. CSS/XML and such all included... O' Reilly's "XML in a Nutshell" is awesome...

Oh yeah, been watching alot of Anime lately... just on in the background... G Gundam, ZOIDS, Inyuashi...etc Adult Swim Weekdays is Awesome... cept for "Home Movies"

New Adult Swim rocks...
One of the reasons I'm so tired lately is that I stay up late to watch 'Futurama'.

Geeze, Fox sucks....

I think that it's extraordinarily important that we in computer science keep fun in computing. When it started out, it was an awful lot of fun. Of course, the paying customer got shafted every now and then, and after a while we began to take their complaints seriously. We began to feel as if we really were responsible for the successful, error-free perfect use of these machines. I don't think we are. I think we're responsible for stretching them, setting them off in new directions, and keeping fun in the house. I hope the field of computer science never loses its sense of fun. Above all, I hope we don't become missionaries. Don't feel as if you're Bible salesmen. The world has too many of those already. What you know about computing other people will learn. Don't feel as if the key to successful computing is only in your hands. What's in your hands, I think and hope, is intelligence: the ability to see the machine as more than when you were first led up to it, that you can make it more.
