Have decided home is where I need to be and to consider the 3 years here in China as a great adventure. Wife & I are now committed to returning to Sydney by end March - in the meantime, we will go & see to more places on the mainland. Xian (terra cotta warriors), Guilin (beautiful mountains water & countryside). Work is no problem, that ended at end Jan. So on return it will be new job etc:. New adventure. Cheers & hope things are generally good or great for everyone else. If they aren't, just consider it transient. Things always come in cycles. Doug Marker

I think it is the romance of what the 'silk road' once was that is its allure. Looks like we won't make it this time.
