Reminds me of a scene in a book.
It's "Monstrous Regiment" by Terry Pratchett.
The main character, Polly, has just enlisted in the army, disguised as a boy, in a tiny village where the recruitment wagon is. She and the other recruits are spotted a drink in what passes for the sole inn in the place. One of the other recruits says quite calmly "Thish tashtes like horshe pish." (he has a bad lisp) The bartender is obviously upset but after being persuaded by another new recruit and our hero(ine) to serve something better, the original speaker says a bit plaintively "I never shaid I didn't like it."
...
Wade.
"Insert crowbar. Apply force."
