I tried calling
I thought I had a working number for the Rathman household. I was wrong. :-(
We just have to wait for news.

Good news
We just got back from the hospital after Chris was kept overnight for observation. The doctor ruled out any sign of heart attack. Apparently, it was a severe case of panic attack. He will be staying home and resting for the rest of the week. (just in time to batten down the hatches from what we will be receiving from Hurricane Rita :-( )
Thank you so much for the encouraging words. Ya can't keep a good man down, and Critter is as good as they come. Big hugs to you all. (Oh great, now I'm getting all verklempt.)
Love to you all, Amy

Indeed. Try to relax now, all of you.
Take care, and best of luck this weekend!

Hot DAMN!
That is GREAT news.
Best thing to do is: FOLLOW the DOCTORS ORDERS!
Also, ya'needs to finger out what he was umm-stressing about. I have those days, like yesterday, I was just not able to sit still, I had a lump in my chest for a while. Until I forced myself to focus on something good for me or good for my morale.

Are you close to where Rita will hit?
If so, take care! My cousins didn't leave today, but they are leaving in the morning for Trinity, they said their town was out of almost everything and they managed to get the last two boxes of bottled water available.
I'm so glad to hear Chris is going to be okay. Panic Attacks can be really scary when they cause such a variety of symptoms, I know, because I have them, so I sympathize with him.
You still have my prayers, Amy and Chris!
