Damn you Greg, you WERE trying to kill me!
I tried the H2o2 thing. It burned like hell as soon as it went up my nose. My scalp and face felt like they were on fire and my upper teeth ached like hell. Something went awry.
This was the 2nd time today I cursed like a sailor in front of the kids. It has NOT been a good day.

I've had good luck with Listerine...
Or was that chili oil...?
Well, as long as we're trying things, you may as well go for both of them. One of them is bound to work.

Time for a nasal VOC injection, I wot...

True story:
One of my cow-orkers is known for taking stupid bets. Someone bet him he couldn't keep one of those mega breath mints (I forget the brand) up his nose for a full minute.
We have it on tape.
The most amazing part was after he finally blew the mint out. You could smell the mint on his breath 10 feet away from him. Something to do with the interaction with the mucus, I guess, but man, his breath just about knocked us over.

I said to reduce it!!!!!!
And yes, it burned like hell.
I used to do that once a morn and eve. Before my Nasal cavity was augered out.
I haven't done it in a while. I always reduce it to 2%-3%, you are in "lab science" stuff you know what I mentat!!!
But, how is the misery now? lesser I hope.
I am sorry if it surprised you.

I DID REDUCE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And if you want to get scientific, it not called "reduce", it's called "titrate". Surprised me? This was far beyond 'surprise', my friend. I'm not coming to you for medical advice any more. You suck.
My friend Jeff called last night. He claims to be a psychic healer. He did his little voodoo to me over the phone. I didnt feel much different. I never do. At 1 am I woke up and my whole face way throbbing. Way beyond typical. Bordering on alarming. I dont know if it was the "Greg" treatment or the "Jeff" treatment that caused it, but I was cursing you both last night.
I feel like shit this morning. Shit, shit shit. Just another day of paradise for Laura.

It was probably aggravation...
I know it SUCKS. But you gotta do it religiously...
Sorry 'bout your condition. Hopefully you'll get it dealt with next week.
BTW, the throbbing of your face.... no, no, no... I won't ask that question.
Maybe it should have been titrated to 1%, then. Sorry, I hope things go well.

The word you're looking for is "diluted", BTW. HTH.
Titration may be *how* you go about diluting it -- if you have the finely-graded glass titration tube to do it with -- but it *is* not, per se, the same thing.
Not in general public usage, that is; the way you use it is probably quite valid in your specific sub-culture of biogeeks and chemonerds, where you've all probably forgotten, by now, that stuff can actually be diluted in ways other than by titration -- but fooling poor Greg to use it in *his* daily speech would be doing him a disservice.

If she *had* succeeded in making you use that at home or work, you would have looked a fine prat.
If you were using it in jest, HTF was I supposed to know that?

Nah, what she REALLY needs is
to snort six prairie fires in quick succession. Prairie fires being one ounce each of jack daniels, tequila, and tabasco. That'll cure what ails ya.
