He tried Linux

but couldn't get it to work on his systems. He was baffled, and went out and got a copy of Windows 2000 instead.

Truth be knowd, even my Red Hat install isn't working all the way. I got the CLI to boot, but the X GUI keeps complaining about a missing screen or font and refuses to run. I tried running XConfig and it said it was not found. I've tried reinstalls, but gave up on it as it took too much time and I need to spend my time looking for a job, getting the confusing fiancial aid papers finished, and etc.
