Wonkette has more...
http://wonkette.com/...-to-help-everyone
Ralph Hudgens, the insurance commissioner for the great state of Georgia, recently bragged to a meeting of Republicans,
ÂLet me tell you what weÂre doing (about ObamaCare)[:] Â
Everything in our power to be an obstructionist.Â
Oh, really? Tell us more, Atlanta Journal-Constitution columnist Jay Bookman!
After pausing to let applause roll over him, a grinning Hudgens went on to give an example of that obstructionist behavior, this one involving so-called Ânavigators who are being hired to guide customers through the process of buying health insurance on marketplaces, or exchanges, set up under the federal program.
ÂWe have passed a law that says that a navigator, which is a position in that exchange, has to be licensed by our Department of Insurance, Hudgens said. ÂThe ObamaCare law says that we cannot require them to be an insurance agent, so we said fine, weÂll just require them to be a licensed navigator. So weÂre going to make up the test, and basically you take the insurance agent test, you erase the name, you write Ânavigator test on it.Â
Hudgens clearly thought that was a pretty cute way for state officials to obstruct and delay implementation of the program and to ensure that it doesnÂt work well for Georgians. Judging from their reaction, his audience thought so too.
[...]
You go Ralph... :-/
Cheers,
Scott.

Gee...
If only we had a Public Option no one would have to buy private insurance and that ploy wouldn't work.

those darn repo's
everyone knows that a navigator doesnt require a background check to have full access to your healthcare data and all personal id, why would they need a test?

Once again Bill
his stated goal is not about making it work, it's about making it not work. And a background check is a very different thing from a test.
Seriously dude, there's tons of shit that you can rake Obama over the coals for that's legitimate. Why are you working over the shit that's not?

not having a background check for navigators
is a good idea? Since when? Does your government allow hiring of people for accessing extremely sensitive personal info, say the motor vehicle department without a check to see if they have previously run a chop shop?

what who is talking about?
georgia wants to license them, as part of getting a license they will be background checked. A test to see if they are even qualified for usage may be useful. Is he throwing up a roadblock? Sure, just because it is a roadblock doesnt mean its a bad idea. The fact that ahem, that some navigators are too stupid to tie their own shoes for certain exchanges is anecdotal, not data

Ralph Hudgens, the insurance commissioner
He's not talking about trying to do things well, he flat out stated he's being obstructionist. He's working for the people he's supposed to be regulating.
That's who. Read the quote.

BOxley is blind...
He only reads what he wants to read.
Then only interprets things in a way only someone with an agenda would interpret them.
What nearly everyone sees here is that tank he is driving, laying strawmen mines.

Nope, you are...
He's in troll mode; he's trying to make you angry. He knows EXACTLY what he's reading and how he's twisting it. Every time you get pissed off, he wins. It's pretty obvious and you're missing it and he's winning big time.

I am past...
getting angry anymore. I'm not even in the least. I'm doing it now for enjoyment... (or so my wife thinks)
You may think I'm feeding the troll (DNFTT and all that), until recently he was getting further and further away from making any sense, fewer words, fewer threads that were even recognizable, fewer ideas that could be turned.
At least now, IMO, he is understandable... dang, ok. Wait, he is actually forming more coherent trolls. In essence, I'm help him be a better troll.
Great... First world problems, I guess. :/

on the edits...
I just figured a thing that Apache Bombs on for content here.
The previous message would *BOMB* with the content ending in
a single "colon" and single "backslash" in succession
like this one: :\
Except without it showing up.
I'll put this in the admin forum as well.
