Feh, old-skool.
1 x work PPC (steelies) 1 x work formal shoes (brogues) 1 x home casual posh white trainers 1 x home casual posh black trainers 1 x home casual posh shoes brown 1 x home casual posh shoes black 1 x home scruffy trainers 1 x walking boots
Plus assorted random Bad Ideas (too small/let the water in/uncomfortable etc)
Some people might walk the dog/wash the car/do the gardening in either their work shoes or their posh home shoes, but I don't.

Nowhere in "mens fashion" magazines . . .
. . is crockery mentioned. Shoes, however, are a major issue with them. Well, were, since most of those magazines have gone belly up for lack of readership.
What skin lotion do you use?

Reading men's fashion magazines...
...is an activity more metro than I'll ever be.

How do you know that?

Ive read long descriptions of their demise . . .
. . and why they folded. A big subscription promotion for one arrived in the mail 2 days after they announced end of publication so I read the promo out of curiosity.
Crockery was not a feature, never mind any mention of actually washing it yourself (that'd surely wash off your expensive skin cream too, and could damage your manicure).

Dunno about that skin creme stuff -
But I did purchase once, for all obv reasons of poifect labelling.. a small aerosol can of a substance marketed (in the Box-style of sartorial elegance and cuthless patter) -
Bullshit Repellent
(I did, on one occasion accompany/lead a candidate for this service to its repository, in the basement. The mere miming of a button press constituted my entire rebuttal to a certain hanging-debate. Love. It.)

Well if you're gonna show off and list them all...
1 x casual white sneaker/jogger/walking shoes 1 x older joggers used for garden stuff when I remember I have them 1 x casual light brown not-really-a-jogger soft shoe 1 x leather patterned zip-boots 1 x Colorado hiking-ish boots that takes me 5 minutes to put on 1 x black dress shoes that I haven't work in a long time 1 x less dressy black shoes that I used to wear a lot to work 1 x similar shoes but brown 1 x open sandally things, but by Colorado so they look pretty good 1 x sheepskin 'ugh' boots
Hmm. I wonder what I've forgotten.
Wade.

Meh, if we're counting everything...
Brownish comfortable somewhat-like-sneakers-but-less-casual-than-that Sketchers - I wear these pretty much every day.
Black shiny things for wearing with a suit - I can't remember the last time I wore these.
Brown leather for things I don't want to wear with the black - ditto.
White tenny things for working out - *cough* ditto
Moccasins for around the house - every day
Leather boots for rainy/snowy/cold days - a few weeks ago
Ginormous rubber/leather things for shoveling snow - last year
Also assorted older tennis shoes and so on kept for grubby jobs - last year, but it's getting to be that time again.
If you live in LA and don't do anything active, then yes, two pair might be sufficient.
Regards,

Living in LA, it also helps keep the count down . . .
. . that I don't wear any shoes at all unless I'm leaving the house. I compensate by having only one pair of shoes, Florshiem dress shoes, but I admit I'm contemplating getting a pair of more casual shoes with softer soles.
On the other hand, we needn't count shoes forced on one for special purposes.
