This thing of images of Mohammed beng forbidden is a total lie. Museums all over the Islamic countries have artworks, many very famous, that show Mohammed. The Turkish Janisaries marched to battle wearing amulets with Mohammed's image on them.
When the Muslims took over a particular Christian sect that forbade imagery that prohibition got adopted in that area but has not been at all universal.
This is simply exploitation of the rabble, most of which has been kept in such ignorance as to have no idea if images of Mohammed are forbidden. The ones that do are among the manipulators.
