Welcome to IWETHEY!

New This one seems to work better.
[link|http://www.testcafe.com/iqtest/iqtest.html|Here]. Try to do it quickly, without paper, etc. (Average time to complete it is 12 minutes.)

I got 127.

I expect some of the brainiacs here to blow that out of the water. :-)

Cheers,
Scott.

Didn't time myself, didn't use paper, don't put any stock in it.

New 144. [Edit:] Yup, time matters: Repeated it, got 185.
Remembered several from yesterday, but did *some* thinking about most... I think I changed one answer; the way I recall it, I answered that wrong yesterday.

And I can't recall what answer I gave to the last -- *totally* fucking idiotic! -- one yesterday; I flipped a virtual coin in my head, both times. So it may be that I corrected this too, for two more points than yesterday; or it remained the same, so as per the above I'd have one more point than yesterday; or possibly I changed it from right to wrong, so it cancels out with the above one and I have exactly the same number of correct answers as yesterday.

Any which way, it seems time is at least nearly as important for the score as the actual number of correct answers.

Stupid test, though.

Pattern recognition score of 88, whatever that means.

New Odd that
Pattern recognition score of 100 - overall score 120?

New NFC what that measures.
Could be that pattern recognition is only a part of the overall test, though.

New So, Photography Experience=Intelligence. What a BS question!
New Speed matters
I took it the first time, but got interrupted in the middle to talk work for a bit, and got an IQ of 117.

I then answered it a second time and got an IQ of 161.

My answers were not what changed.

Cheers,
Ben

New Indeed.
I got 160 the 2nd time (127 the first time), "your Pattern Recognition score is 88." I don't think I changed any answers.

My uncle once told me: "Your IQ is the score you get on an IQ test."

FWIW. :-)

Cheers,
Scott.
New That would explain a lot
I took a break in the middle when interrupted for something or other.

New World Trivia
The same site has a [link|http://www.testcafe.com/world/|world trivia quiz]. I scored 18/30: "..you are not a master of world history, but, on the bright side, at least you're not a dork." My vanity wants me to take that more seriously than I do the IQ score. The jury is still out on that one.
Have fun,

New 26/30
You scored 26 out of 30. This is a truly impressive score. You should be extremely proud. You have a tremendous knowledge of world history from 1501-1800. You are a motivated and intelligent person and you will go very far in life. Okay, this is where we stop giving you all the credit in the world (this is only world history, after all...) Good job, though!

Cheers,
Ben

You scored 23 out of 30. Great Job! This is a very respectable score. Not many people score this highly. Very impressive. You should do well in life as you have a mix of intelligence, common sense, and knowledge of world history from 1501 to 1800....Still, you are not a master of world history, but, on the bright side, at least you're not a dork.

Damn glad to know that I'm not a dork! (though my wife would probably argue that point!)

The first time i put "puritans" instead of "pilgrims" and only got 29, so I went back and said "pilgrims" and got 30. I think Puritans is as good an answer overall.
Have whatever values you have. That's what America is for.
You don't need George Bush for that.
New I *thought* they had that wrong!
I said "Pilgrims" because I thought that was the answer that they were looking for, even though it is wrong.

According to a book I read about common historical misunderstandings, the Pilgrim sect started arriving a decade after the Mayflower landed. The original group were actually English Separatist Puritans.

Thanks,
Ben
