And, as far as I know, it's only considered a religion by those who use it as a detracting description. I don't think I've ever met anyone who follows secular humanism. I may be wrong, and probably am because I don't really know what it means in relation to religion. I've only ever seen it applied as a label to others. I can't remember a single instance of anyone ever declaring "I'm a secular humanist". If I knew what it meant and agreed with it, I'd be happy to make that statement however.
