The hair really wasnt the issue
It became a symbol of his refusal to grow up. I generally like long hair on men. Or short hair. Or no hair. Hell, I'm not picky. And drinking is fine- it's the alcoholism I have a problem with. Without going into all the gory details in a public forum, he wanted a parent instead of a partner. And I didnt want that. 'Nuff said for now.
No call from DtE yet and I'm not expecting one. As Andrew said, I think he went screaming into the night. I do, occassionally, tend to have that effect on men.
Just where is this party? Near Lambertville NJ at all? I'm thinking about it.

Just so you know
it's "run screaming naked into the cold, dark night".

Now accountants, on the other hand . . .
. . have always been the wild bunch in the companies I've worked for. Forget marketing, they're tame, try to get invited to the accounting department parties. Yes, running naked even.
Disclaimer: I spent much of my employment years as an engineering accountant feeding numbers to marketing.

Yeah, couldn't you tell?
why else would we be talking about accountants? Now if someone were to bring up lawyers, then we'd be firmly into the leech territory... but those things aren't lizards so they're not a fit subject of discussion for this thread.

Lambertville? Nope
Much further south, near Philadephia.
But seeing this map is kind of odd for me. [link|http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&address=&city=lambertville&state=nj&zipcode=|http://www.mapquest....state=nj&zipcode=]
#1 - Ivyland is visible. That is where my office is.
#2 - Right underneath Lambertville is Huffnagle. That is the name of the street in Philadelphia I spent the 1st 3 years of my life.
Here is where the party is:
[link|http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&address=&city=sicklerville&state=nj&zipcode=|http://www.mapquest....state=nj&zipcode=]
I live on the middle upper edge of that map.

Interesting
My sister lives near Lambertville (in Ringoes), and Imric aka Skip grew up in that area.
Bill Patient might have as well?

Well from my point of view he isn't very "up"! :-P
He kind of grew sideways a bit as well. But I've heard rumor that he's ungrown sideways.
That'll make him easier to throw in the pool. :-)

Then I should give my sister a ring.
Incidentally is it stretching coincidence that I think my brother-in-law works in Lambertville in the airline insurance industry? (He's a lawyer.)

Re: They are?
From what I understand, it's pretty bad. Bad enough that my boss is out of commission today and I'm running the show out of my office. You should call your sister.. What's your bro-inlaw's name? We retain a chap named David Evans.
