Don't forget that Isreal also has a significant population that wants to return Isreal to some idealized biblical border. Those in the settler movement tend to be among the most orthodox Jews.

To people that think the land was given to them by God, the presence of any other squatters is not that important. They don't have any right to be there in the first place, so how can they complain when they are evicted?
