The ISP guy is a small local service, and I guess he can't afford to replace his system equipment. Thanks though. If I read your original post, your ISP changed it's number and it's equipment. If that's so, they owe you because they're providing a faulty service! At the very least, he should be waiving your fees (or loaning you a Known Good Modem) until they fix their modem rack. Wade. "Insert crowbar. Apply force."

I've been pretty down, and John wants me to be happier, and I was just starting to be happier when this hit, and now everything is harder and longer to load so I got down again. So John would rather buy me another modem than hassle with the ISP guy. At least it would be a quicker fix than waiting for them to upgrade sometime. They then get translated to either ISDN or leased line. If the ISP does not have a relationship with whoever serves your local POP, then they can't get better than 33KB.
