New Slogans are for the ignorant masses.
It gives the schmoos a chance to be relevant for that nano second in time where all dross falls away and a sense of purpose larger than life itself overcomes the id. That is when you can direct the mob to your own aims and devices quite often at extreme angles to the normal belief of the mass.
