New Re: Here's the thing...
When it comes down to it, I can either jump through a billion hoops to make it work using my OS/2 applications, or I can do it all in CorelDraw on a winbox. It sucks that I'm doing it on a winbox, but CorelDraw let's me draw the comic so much faster because I can do everything in one place, make readjustments, edit as needed, etc.

Yeah, I can certainly understand that... I'm not particularly advocating you actually do it, so much as just talking about how it could be done.

\r\n\r\n
Now, if I can get VirtualPC to work well with my computer, I'm hoping that I can install CorelDraw and DreamWeaver on *that* -- that would be great, since I wind up doing all my writing, browsing etc. in OS/2...

What problems are you having? Are they driver related, performance?

New File sharing
THEORETICALLY there's a way for Virtual PC to be able to connect to the rest of the network (including the OS/2 machine itself) using its network tools... but I can't figure out how to do it. Maybe I need to buy the addons for that.

That's really the only way VPC would be viable, if I could open up files via some kind of "shared" folder that links to actual files on my OS/2 machine. I'd hate for my VPC session to be corrupted and have all my Help Desk stuff trapped in one big corrupted, useless file...

New I hear the performance is not so good
... on the file sharing doohicky. Try setting up peer networking instead. I think it also depends a lot on which version you have... 5 was a lot better than 4, and if you have 4, you can contact innotek for a free upgrade to 5.
