Today I bought a 33GB SCSI-II disk on which I will re-install RH8 and will see if that can get me away from the gaping holes windows seems to have open. I have tried to make completely sure that I have no file-sharing on the network card that connects to the Router but each time I start up I see that the ip allocated has ports 137 & 138 showing when I run netstat - I use sharing on my local network but it still seems to activate it for the other card even though checked off in the properties box for that card.
