So the apparent mere punctiliousness about the semantics of a word is focussed upon; meanwhile the presumptions about Why there was a barrier erected? - and the argument whether some folk(s?)' initial presumptions about that reason - were erroneous: seems to have been buried in the noise.
As to which camp is Right, well I have an opinion which doubtless is Right-eous enough.. because it's mine.
