W was not the lesser evil. He was the greater evil that caused much of the mess we're in. Similarly with Reagan.
Letting the greater evil win makes things worse.

I do not believe there is any hope that things will ever improve if we continue electing the same kind of "lesser evils" that got us into this mess in the first place.
