If CRC comes around ask him how much tax he has to pay Germany each year(at least I think he mentioned being born in Germany.)As for why boris doesn't give up his passport, I cant answer that. He isn't saying.

Born, yes, but gave up my German citizenship before I ever earned a penny.

You know for a fact they're not taxed just like him?
I betcha all the hitherto-illegal Guatemalan housemaids who earn the same as Boris, pay the same taxes as Boris. Do you have any evidence to the contrary? If not, what fucking justification do you have for even posting the drivel I'm replying to in the first place? You must have KNOWN it was bullshit. So you're obviously engaging in typical Stupid-Repo tactics: Knowingly carpet-bombing the discussion with lies, in the hope of drowning out the truth. Handwaving, non-answer, Retardican S.O.P. Honestly, have you no shame?
We don't, because we're not into reverse (or "in-sourced"?) colonialism in the form of importing slave labour in stead of farming out the work to poor countries. So, are you saying yours get paid as much as Boris? Do you really think any significant proportion of illegal immigrants earns enough to *have to pay any federal income tax at all*?!? No, of course you don't -- because not even you could be that stupid. So you're still just gibbering bullshit for the sake of... well, for the sake of gibbering bullshit, apparently. Thank you for so convincingly demonstrating how right I was to identify your behaviour as the typical right-wing thuggery of drowning out any reasoned discussion under a flood of verbal excrement. But please tell me, because I totally don't understand: Are you really not ashamed of your behaviour? And WHY are you doing this? I mean, the logic behind the ordinary accusations of being paid to troll seems rather compelling: Why would anyone want to humiliate himself -- because that is of course what you are doing, coming off as such a braindead troglodyte -- why would you humiliate yourself so, if you weren't at least getting paid for it? WHY, for heavens sake, do you persist in behaving like such an utter fucking arsehole? -- Christian R. Conrad Same old username (as above), but now on iki.fi (Yeah, yeah, it redirects to the same old GMail... But just in case I ever want to change.) |

illegal construction workers earn between 12-15 dollars per hour
http://yle.fi/uutiset/illegal_immigrants_pay_big_to_be_smuggled_into_country/5863295 apparently you deport them? What do you do with them? Chances are you deport them back to what ever shithole they are trying to escape from. Have you no shame, Old Boris makes big bucks so he has to be turned upside down and shaken for every spare dime because you hate the rich? Maybe you should look at your own motives. Still no answer to any question above. What are you --
-- paid troll, or just *such* a dedicated useful idiot? At 12-15 bucks/h, how many years do you think they have to work 24/7 to approach what he makes in one? Next reply should contain an actual response to at least ANYTHING of the above. Otherwise, have the decency to just shut the fuck up, please. -- Christian R. OK, sorry for being unclear: The same taxes as are being asked from him.
Forgive me for being so cryptic. Of course anyone not actively working as hard as they can at being an idiot troll would have easily inferred that that was what was meant, but... Why indeed.
Okay, rather than guessing what Boris might get out of it, does anyone know what the real benefits are? Is it how many countries you can enter without arranging a visa beforehand? (I thought that was higher for AU or NZ passports.) Or is it something else? Wade. Just Add Story http://justaddstory.wordpress.com/ |

The rules say US citizens pay US income tax on their income.
This isn't complicated. If you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien, you must report income from all sources within and outside of the U.S. This is true whether or not you receive a Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement, a Form 1099 (Information Return) or the foreign equivalents. See Publication 525, Taxable and Nontaxable Income for more information.- http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Income-from-Abroad-is-Taxable Why do you want to let him be a moocher and avoid his responsibilities? Cheers, Scott. |

what is he mooching exactly? health care or foodstamps? Maybe schooling or
perhaps using our airports? No the airport tax is paid when you buy a ticket. So what exactly is he mooching? He's a US citizen. He should pay US taxes like other US citizens.
That's what the law says. Lots of people with US citizenship live abroad. They get benefits from having a US passport even if they don't think they're actively using it. This isn't hard. ;-) Cheers, Scott. |

hate to agree with boxley, but
...apparently the US government has lately been putting the squeeze on individuals who were born here of foreign nationals, or who were born abroad of US citizens but never lived here, and presumably never reaped the questionable benefits of life in this savage police state. In their position, I'd drop by the US embassy and renounce that identity in an Old York minute. cordially, |

glad those two countries are not trying to gauge me for tax money, I can barely afford to pay taxes here. Fly in the ointment...
Renouncing citizenship costs a lump sum of 40% of their assessment of your resources. You can't just flip them the bird and walk away. "Religion, n. A daughter of Hope and Fear, explaining to Ignorance the nature of the Unknowable." ~ AMBROSE BIERCE (1842-1914) |

Huh? *Any* resources?
If you're talking about resources *in the US*, then that's a perfectly normal equity tax[*]. (Perhaps a little arbitrarily assessed, for all I can tell, but still.) Are you saying Rand's example of someone who happens to have US citizenship but has practically never set foot there, will have his resources *elsewhere* impounded upon renouncing his US citizenship? Any sources on that? -- Christian R. Conrad Same old username (as above), but now on iki.fi (Yeah, yeah, it redirects to the same old GMail... But just in case I ever want to change.) I seem to be out of date.
It appears to have been relaxed in 2008. Unsurprising, given the subservience to the rich. There is still an exit tax but there are a lot more loopholes in it now. I haven't the time or interest to read a bunch of IRS forms to be more specific. Sorry about that. "Religion, n.
