. . especially with the Kielbasa from European Meat Specialties of North Hollywood. Their product resembles Hillshire Farm's about like a Maserati resembles a Ford Pinto. You can probably find similar quality deep in the Polish enclaves of Chicago.

Thanks for the corrections and suggestions - as usual I rushed the recipe out so I could get back to eating.

New My Polish Nanna made her own kielbasa
It was good. Every Christmas and Easter, there was homemade kielbasa on the breakfast table.

Then she told me what the casing was.

That was the end of the kielbasa for me.
