This is one Happy dog, methinks. Always Lovely whenever one more is freed from penitentiary. Ya gots cuth.
Sierra cat ~informs me that she's encountered a few 'nice' dogs in her time, too - and on inspection - thinks Sophie was a good choice (no punintended - cats are rarely droll)..
At least, in staring at the screen for several seconds: she gave a clear ^Paw-up^ (her verbs are usually clear enough, though there's a small interspecies problem re the adjectives, y'see?) Then too, her coloring is very similar to Sierra's! maybe that accounts for such a long look?
I share the fondness for mutts; all this human hybridization, oft for showing-off class purposes - doesn't seem to select much for canine brains (?) I mean, consider the poor collie.
Then too, I can breathe a certain sigh of relief about your remaining chores.. a perk, when it's a cat which has selected you for Staff: no training possible :-)
As to big dogs, standing up - when it's an 80# wolf running at glad-ta-See-ya Zooom velocity (and.. you Know that's the plan), it's always a bit humbling when those giant paws suddenly add 20# to each shoulder, for the nose-rub. It does require physics though: lean forward! or prepare to be prone with-animal-throw-rug.
Congrats on a new sentient being to learn from.
