Post #279,049 by crazy 3/21/07 1:19:50 PM Reply	Your standard response is no one can keep a secret But there is some really compelling stuff out there, such as the BBC reporting about the building collapsing BEFORE it happened, and EVERY official BBC copy of the report (they keep multiple copies at multiple location, it is the law over there) disappeared and they are unwilling to talk about it based on stuff other people recorded off that air. And do you really believe every account of synchronized explosions right before the towers fell was imagined? It take a huge amount of expertise to cause buildings to drop straight down. And in this case, multiple buildings a fell perfectly. Yeah, I believe it is possible. I believe Bush probably didn't know about it, but some in his admin do, and that is how they manage to keep a lid on it. It doesn't matter how many people wonder about it out loud, as long as the few key people involved are true believer in the cause or dead. People like you will never believe it is possible that it happened, and people like me aren't about to stand up and be killed for it. That leaves very few people left who they may care about knowing.

Imagined no, misguided yes. When the buildings began to fall the air pressure inside caused blasts of air to blow out weak points. Many observers mistook cause and effect. It take a huge amount of expertise to cause buildings to drop straight down. And in this case, multiple buildings a fell perfectly. That theory is fairly absurd when you consider what they would have had to do to insure they would fall straight down. They would have had to plan out exactly where the planes where going to hit the towers and calculate exactly what sort of damage that would do to the structure. Otherwise their detonations might cut the supports in an unbalanced way and end up causing the building to fall over rather then straight down. It certainly appears that certain matters related to the 9/11 attack have been covered up or insufficiently investigated. But the wild conspiracy theories are simply that. Jay

So your comment means you believe it is more likely for the plane to cause a perfect pancake due to a random hit at a random angle producing a random fire, melting steel in multiple balanced locations, then a bunch of experts planning it out?

Instead, the building design itself would make a fire of the intensity seen there cause the floors to pancake and pull the building straight down...just like the engineering review said. The weren't giant solid toothpicks waiting to be toppled over. The force needed to make a building fall over sideways is much, much larger than the force necessary to make it collapse. Remember, the steel and so-forth is specified to have a certain strength based on the expected loads and a safety factor. When the steel weakened due to the fire, what was above was sufficient to make the building collapse. Once the collapse started, the force from the collision of the floors above was more than enough to make the building continue collapsing. Please don't give the nut-jobs who see a conspiracy under every bush the time of day. Witnesses are impressionable. Peoples perceptions are not camera snapshots of reality. Since the structure was reliant on external support (double width floors designed to be pulled to accomodate tenant requests)...compromising that external structure caused the floors to collapse...nearly the same scenario as 1 and 2. So, give a bunch of people who current a junior billionares who want a bunch more and let them loose, and magic happens. It's doesn't have to be a VAST conspiracy, just a well funded and controlled one. The return on investment is worth it.
