I'd try to get something from a real camera manufacturer. Maybe something like [link|http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16830187611|this] Vivitar. Note that you would probably want the Combo with the 1 GB memory card (at the bottom of the page) as it doesn't come with a memory card. The Combo is $99.99 + $7.43 shipping.

I'm partial to Canons myself, but they are much more money.

You can also look around at [link|http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=NavBar&A=search&Q=|B&H] for more cameras in that price range.

Don't forget that you may need a USB memory card reader too, to get the photos off the card.
