Since about 80% of the machines I've built have VIA chipsets and since about 90% of the machines I've built have no serious problems from cradle to grave, I can't say VIA chipsets are bad. I have, however, encountered particular motherboards that were the pits regardless of chipset. [link\|http://www.aaxnet.com\|AAx]
