Know how you feel
Mine's on the rocks too. Has been for months.
One bad consequence has been that it's turned me into a very angry person. I'm going to have to get past that somehow.

Been doing a lot of that
Part of it is that you can't just cut off comm when you have children, as we do. It makes it easy to stoke up the fires.

Understand that
The conflict between wanting this person completely out of your life and trying to do what's best for the kiddos. I often wished my ex would get hit by a bus..but then considered how my son would feel about losing his mom.

I don't feel that way about her
OTOH, it wasn't really my choice exactly. Well, you know, it's complicated. She's complicated, and she's been an angry person for a lot longer than I have. She even has good reasons to be angry; the only problem is that while the causes haven't been mine in the majority part, I have received the majority if not all of the fallout.
Negotiations are ongoing, but right now it's definitely off.

Thanks Amy
It's not necessarily the Final End, but things have got to change... and I'm not there now.
I know what our kids want to see happen; we'll see if it ends up working out that way.
