my G_d it is beautiful!!!
First day on new job, heavy snowflakes falling gently to the ground, first snow I have seen in 5 years. Oh the humanity of it.

It's pretty out here, too
But the beauty of it all was tarnished by having to shove 2 kids out the door for school this morning when we are the only district in a 100 mile radius that DOESNT have a snow day. And the shoveling sucks, too.

I was just in Laval for a week. Over the course of the week we had about six inches of snow in total. About typical.

Yeah, but we didn't have a snow storm.
We only had the typical afternoon flurry a few of the days I was there. Certainly nothing that could be graced with the term snow storm, let alone blizzard.
A snow storm in that neck of the woods drops a foot or more.

Here in the Cities they've wimped out. Now 2" is storm.
Heard on radio weatherman complaining that our snow is coming only an inch at a time, not the snowfalls we're accustomed to receiving.
