How expensive is the DB2 support?

SAP will support it 100% for the software maintenance fee.

* Support contract gives access to SAP\ufffds support infrastructure
* Customer Competence Center (CCC) with a limited number of contact persons needs to be set up
* Support fee is 60 000 Euro per year per CCC
* SAP DB maintenance fees for SAP solutions reduce the support fees for a CCC

So... iffn you have nothing else SAP... it's 60K Euro (or that funky "CEE" thingy) how's that compare?

DB2 support is about 20 - 25% of the initial purchase price each year.

So if the initial licenses are $120,000, then the annual support costs would be about $24,000 to $36,000 per year.
