Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Naw, it's dirt simple
There is no sales tax in the UK

There is VAT which is on most things (there are exceptions for things like childrens' clothes)

And then there are specific duties - fuel and alcohol spring most readily to mind.

But VAT is simpler than US sales tax because it's one rate and it's not regional at all.

I now return you to your scheduled programme.
New That's what I tried to explain to him, but he either refused
...or pretended not to understand what I was saying, because it proves him wrong.

Intellectual dishonesty much, trainwReck?

Same old username (as above), but now on iki.fi

(Yeah, yeah, it redirects to the same old GMail... But just in case I ever want to change.)
New It's just so very very sad...
...to see you've lost your touch.
New getting old, not as nimble
Any opinions expressed by me are mine alone, posted from my home computer, on my own time as a free American and do not reflect the opinions of any person or company that I have had professional relations with in the past 58 years. meep
New Is that your excuse then?

If you read his stuff out-loud it's usually not too hard to figure out what he means. The typos are part of Box's charm.

My $0.02.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Yeah yeah...
I'm wearing Readers now in low light and up close situations.
