New Maybe grab DFSee?
Hi,

I've not used LVM myself.

[link|http://groups.google.com/groups?q=LVM+windows+won%27t+boot&hl=en&rnum=1&selm=SKfw30zmCGmZ-pn2-vd9hbrYlclDw%40x.y.z|This] thread on Google's USENET cache might be appropriate to you. It talks about using LVM with a new install. Doug mentions using DFSee for various tasks.

You can get DFSee [link|http://www.fsys.demon.nl/dfsee.htm|here]. It's shareware with version 4. (I've not used it myself.)

I hope this helps a little. Good luck. I'd like to see you succeed with your travails with the T22 as it seems like a nice machine.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Looks interesting
The google thread didn't help, but the DFSee might. I'll give it a try.

New Didn't have time to try it
had some visitors show up last night. We stayed up late playing Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. For some reason my Alien Wizard turned into a chicken. Character codes can be found [link|http://www.cheatcc.com/psx2/gdl.html|here] - SKY100 = Alien Wizard, NUD069 - S&M Dwarf, AYA555 - Valkrie as Japanese school girl.

I did read up on the instructions and figure if the "recover lost partition" command doesn't work then I'll do this and start over from scratch:

DFS ;Start DFS and scan physical disks
newmbr 1 clean ;Create fresh MBR on disk 1 with
;clean, empty partition table
