I think he thought he could get some concessions out of the Democrats (who were more likely to listen to him) by running - like maybe get to be the new Secretary of Labor or something. I really don't think he thought he could tip the scales of the election. If he did, I don't think he would have run because I think he knew what this would be like - as many of us did. bcnu, Mikem Osama bin Laden's brother could fly in US airspace 9/15/01, but I had to wait for FBI and CIA background checks, 'nuff said?
