The laptop is a [link|http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_outFrm.jsp?moid=256525&ct=DS&BV_SessionID=@@@@0324201141.1037020248@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccdcadcgjfeilllcgfkceghdgngdgli.0|Toshiba 1905-S303]. I bought it a year old (it's last year's model according to Circuit City), but it runs like a champ.
Not sure what you mean by "high-perf graphics". It's got a 15" active-matrix TFT screen, and while the 32MB nVidia Radeon Mobility LY card can do 1600x1200, the screen's physical resolution is 1024x768. So I'm rather annoyed at the small screen, and I'm stuck with it as I bought it and quickly left the US 2 days later. So no returns. Maybe. >;-)
Planning on crafting a detailed "How I installed Debian on this sucker" post that will go here as well as get sent to [link|http://www.linux-laptop.net/|http://www.linux-laptop.net/]. During my extensive searching over the past week, I have not been able to find *ANY* data on installing any form of Linux on this model laptop.
