I just bought the part to build a new Linux machine today, my old one suffered total hardware implosion a few months ago.

It will end up an 1.1 Ghz Athlon. It will be RedHat 8.0, unless really I feel like experimenting.

I really want to get back to having my internet connection under Linux. Connecting my Windows maching to the internet via a cable modem makes me nervious.
