Commercial traffic was cleared 9/13...but commercial carriers spent that time staging aircraft. In addition, airports all had to be approved for new security measures before they were allowed to open. Charters were the first planes back in the air. And I had 2 to Europe. The fact that most major carriers didn't fly immediately upon being cleared is irrelevant. You initially claimed that you flew charter when the majors were "grounded". That is flatly false.
