The mechanism they describe -- untrained "doctors" prescribing the wrong drugs, and not enough of them, and not long enough -- seems entirely sufficient to cause this. It's just a matter of time until we breed our own resistant bugs. -- Drew

Sure, understanding today's complex world of the future is a little like having bees live in your head. But...there they are.
