according to my friend, he has never personally heard of it. To him it sounds like a locally named derivative of taikondo. Doesnt mean it isnt good. He states its what the kid wants out of it, is the benefit of learning. He teaches competatively and non compete classes. It is a disabling strike method of unarmed combat involving a lot of kicks and hand strikes.
If your son has a mind set that wants to learn a martial arts system it may be fine. If he wants to compete in tournements ala chuck norris have him attend a school that has an olympic entry such as judo taikondo karate. If he wants to fight have him learn muy tai or iron hand gung fu. If he wants to learn body mind co-ordination tai che is best for that.
