Welcome to IWETHEY!

New There's always wine
A friend of mine is on a gluten-free, casein-free diet. Her son is autistic and she put him on the diet with good results. Then she tried to get pregnant again and miscarried 3x. Turns out she has some autoimmune disorder that also responds to this kind of diet. Makes one wonder if there is some kind of link. Her son's autism changed her career path and now she is the director of a local autism treatment center.

I'm rambling. Anyhoo, the point is, she's not much fun to take to dinner because of her dietary restrictions, but she can knock a few glasses of wine back with the rest of us gals. So dont despair, Amy!
New I believe there is an answer
No gluten in charred flesh as far as I am aware. Every day can be a carnival.

Atheism is a religion in the same sense that not collecting stamps is a hobby.
New I am happy
I am so glad I don't have cancer that this diagnosis is practically music to my ears. It means that I'm not dying and I'm not crazy and I can have some control over what is wrong with me.

I found out a few more things from the CT scan that need to be addressed: I have collapsed lungs and a mildly fatty liver. So, no more smoking or drinking. In other words, time to straighten up and fly right or I won't get to see my kids grow up or my grandchildren get born, etc.

My eldest son got a Zales credit card in the mail yesterday. Looks like he's gonna back up his marriage proposal to his girlfriend with a sparkler. I have no idea when the wedding will be but here we go! Gotta stay around a little while longer :-)

I'll start partying again when I'm 70 or so.
Smile,
Amy

I don't have to give up all my vices...there's still cussing and sex ;-)
New Happy is good. :-) Congrats.
New Geez!
You're a wreck!
:-)
New No kidding
I'll bet most of us would shudder at a full-body scan! There's just no telling what's going on on the inside.
Smile,
Amy
New smoking should be out, sorry about the booze
