Top 100 places to live
I live in #55

The theater in the picture shows movies for $3.00. The blue building is our new Irish pub. Downstairs is fine dining. Upstairs is the bar with live music. The bookstore in between recently closed. The owner lost his son in NY on 9/11. He used to sit outside his store playing his banjo, entertaining folks waiting in line at the theater.
I also grew up in #37.
Both are great places to live.

Canton
Though I had classes at Salem, too. Why?

Wowser.
I grew up 6.2 miles from #16. I know that because we were family best buddies with two people who moved there and built homes and I used to ride my bike to see them. Their homes were built for under $30,000 in 1971 and were mid to upper level homes for their neighborhoods. According to the article, that'd mean their property values increased over 21 times in 36 years. That ain't a bad return. (No wonder none of them live there anymore). ;0)

I grew up in [link|http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2007/moneymag/0707/gallery.BPTL_top_100.moneymag/23.html|Hillsborough], myself. Been a long time since I've been back there, but it's definitely a nice town to grow up in.
Jersey -- it's a good place to be from.

One. gives. Thanks.. as in {whew!}
for the preferences of the er, Upscale-obsessed and their Valuez. (The Money psychoanalysts completely missed several nearby Nirvanas in No. Calif. and ... well, Thanks! for all That.)
Having the Escalades and \ufffdDenalis just drive-through this area, enroute to nearby $500/night wine-spas - fortunately is mainly a weekend clogging of the two-lane. But having such as neighbors?
{{brr}} Close-one!
(Why.. we might next have had street lights / lost the stars / gained putting greens and the rest of the Gated Compounds. In fact, there's a Distant Early Warning canary nearby, up a hill -- an olive-drab pillbox-with-Gate. We are collecting the torches.. in case distribution becomes necessary, next.
\ufffd anagram for Denial ... Love It.

It can't be right. I don't see Sydney on the list :)

Re: Top 100 places to live
Christ on a catheter! There are places I'd rather be than my gritty patch of ground in Oakland CA, but between the few spots on the list with which I'm familiar and the odious regions in which most of the others are found, I'm sticking with my combination of cultural amenities, politics and some of the best weather, season for season, in North America. Ah...any of you guys wanna argue about the weather? In July?

list is crap :-)
it lists suwannee georgia and I did investigate living there. I wont live in a town where the gang grafitti is not in english or at least colorful. The small berg to the northeast where I live is much nicer, less traffic and crime ridden and the lots of non english people that live over here work too hard to bother with gang activities. thanx, bill
