Pirates 3

In short,

Lot's of Piracy going on makes the story jump around a bit.

Keith makes an interesting pirate.

If you liked the other 2...go see it. If the 2nd one was too much for you...then maybe you should save your cash.

Visually it was well done. Great effects.

If you go...stay through the credits.

I liked it. But then again, mindless entertainment is what I go to the movies to see:-)

Pretty good

If you liked one and two you will like three also. The fights where not as well choreographed as the second, but they needed the time for the awesome display of freelance backstabbing that is the plot. Everybody as their own scheme in this movie, they all conflict, they are all willing to kill to advance their plots and yet none of them can win alone. They gang up and switch sides the whole way through the movie, often more then once in a single scene.

If you have not scene the at least the second one though, this one is not going to make a lot of sense.

I saw One and Two

And this one still didnt make much sense to me. Too much pointless fighting, too many irrelevent sub-plots, too much less-than witty dialog, and it was way too long. And too many scenes without Jack. He did very little sashaying in this movie, and that is what he does best. All the hype about Keith Richards was overblown, too. I'd file him in the irrelevent sub-plot category.

I was disappointed. My time would've been better spent staying home cleaning.

I liked it.

I just came back from the cinema. It was well worth the price of admission.

It really only worked because we knew the major characters. Which made it interesting to see how the new ones would bounce off them. :-)

When BlueRay drives become more affordable - i.e. when I can splurge - my first BD purchases are probably going to be the Pirates triolgy.
