Change of Season Brings Lawn Mower Warning
This could be me.

Just got done cutting my lawn. I have a self-powered walk behind mower. You have to squeeze 2 levers to keep the gas going and the wheels turning.
Fuck that.
That's what bungie cords are for.
Ahh, a Fark headline waiting to happen.
I survived.
This time.

Sounds like a sissy mower to me.
Self-propelled is for weak little girls.

So what kind of lawn mover do you have?

Why? Are you planning to come over and mow for me?

I barely mow my own lawn
Just wondering whether you were a weak little girl or not.

Those are fightin' words.
I have a bare bones Craftsman mulching mower. No frills. Definitely not self propelled.

I thought you were going to say you had a push mower

When this mower dies, that's probably what I'll get
Quiet, eco-friendly, and it reminds me of my grammys house.

I have a self-propelled mower
only because it came with the house. Next one will probably a push mower, if only to fit in with the neighbors. Or maybe a goat.

agreed, if you cant afford to ride it, push it
just got the mower returned ysterday, they claim there was nothing wrong but it runs now, shrug. I have a nice slope to the yard and a kid who can only be threatened to do half of it.
Dug out my big van from under 2 years accumulations of leaves where the blower ended up pushing them and scrubby dooed it. Filled a 15x30 tarp 3 times with leaves and hauled them down the hill. Dug up the 'mater patch in between hockey games. Now I just took 3 ibuprofin, heading for a soak with beer in hand. thanx, bill
