*BASH NOTICE* - date shift
Tradition has usually dictated that the bash be held on the Saturday closest to the actual holiday...with the Wed tie going to the following weekend (this years case).
Well, for those following tradition, that would make this years bash fall to 7/7. HOWEVER, a family commitment has come up that places me and family some 750 miles from NJ on that weekend, so the party date is officially...
June 30,2007.
My wife is already stressing because that is 2 weeks following the end of school year...meaning we only have 2 weeks of solid work time available to prep for this earth shattering event.
Come one, come all. Bring your swimsuit, your appetite, your sense of humor, your thirst and most probably at least one bottle of aspirin for the following morning :-)

I may have to bring the kids. In which case I wont need to bring the aspirin, which is a marked departure from last year.

Not gonna happen
June 9 is a cousin's wedding in NJ.
June 23/24, I'm doing the MS150 bike ride here in IL.
Plus other various and sundry activities going on...
Too much stuff going on in June already, unfortunately. Gonna have to miss it again. :(

In general I would say yes
however, items like that have had degenerative tendencies at my parties in the past.
So it could start cute and turn into downtown Bagdhad after about 1/2 the booze is consumed;-) Or simply make you a target when the roman candles start. Either way, it gets ugly :-)
