I wrote a rebuttal on my blog... (yeah, shut up)
There was a guy named Gundeep Hora that recently wrote about how Microsoft should "Acquire Linux".
It itched, burned and finally got my off my fat-ass and wrote a rebuttal to his article.
His article was so inflammatory in my view, but it was almost as if he just doesn't under stand OSS.

The whole idea is so frakking preposterous and...
...ill-thought-out, I can't understand how the fuck you could keep your temper and reply in such civil tones to that utterly stpuid drivel. FAICS, he fucking *deserved* to be flamed off the surface of the planet.
And WTF is this cooltechzone.com site all about? The motto they proudly proclaim right under their name in the upper-left corner of the page is "Know Technology"... But if that article is representative of the level of "knowledge" on the site, then I'm glad I've never been there before.
And, unfortunately, it seems to be: Under "Today's Top Stories", the follow-up to this drivel you so easily refuted is "[link|http://www.cooltechzone.com/Departments/Featured_Story/Apple_Ready_to_Kill_OS_X?_200702282811/|Apple Ready to Kill OS X?]" (By the same guy; is he the one-man-band behind the whole site?) Here's a gem from that one: "Apple is back in news again with its highly anticipated iPhone. Where does that leave the operating system?" Well, fuckwit, for one thing, the damn phone *RUNS* OS/X...
Sheesh. Remind me never to go to that site any more.

Could be, but if so: What FOR - is that an end in itself?
If he wants exposure, one would think that's presumably in order to sell some shtuff or peddle a viewpoint or something... There's no sense in creating "click-attracting troll material" only in order to get exposure for MORE "click-attracting troll material", is there? What's the *use* of that?(*) And judging from all I saw of the site, 100 % of the material there (i.e, two articles out of two) are "click-attracting troll material".
(*): Unless it's one of those business plans you see on /. all the time, like: - Dirty-underwear-eating garden gnomes (or whatever)

but it seemed a bit obvious that the guy knew bupkis about Linux and OSS...and the more I look at his stuff he knows bupkis about the industry in general.
