Talk radio is weird.

His show is on Sunday afternoons. I don't imagine that he has a wide spectrum of listeners (but I don't know). Talk radio generally has audiences that are homogeneous.

I wouldn't take the comments as being reflective of a wide swath of America (or even of the right wing in America). It is disconcerting, though.
