Actually, I couldn't remember how to breathe...

When you just STOP...
breathe ... ... ... (again)
I seem to always forget how to breathe when I'm actually panicking, so I'm thinking of writing it down on a card to have handy to tell me.
The way I fixed it and managed to calm my breathing was by sitting on the hood of my car and SINGING at the top of my lungs. "Sunshine.... on my shoulders.... makes me happy..." to my John Denver tape in the car.
I was so busy trying to sing I forgot to hyperventilate. ;) I am surprised the police didn't wonder about me though. ;)
