We got out an orange and a flash light, I'm showing him how the earth is tilted on it's axis, how the sun's rays hit the earth at different angles, etc. He was having a hard time grasping it. Then I said " So we're heading into winter right now and Uncle John down in Australia is just starting summer." Ding ding ding. The light bulb went on. "Ohhhhh", he said, "NOW I get it!"
