New Luck?
Luck is for people without skills, connections, and cunning.
New And modesty. Dont forget modesty.
New Modesty?
Modesty is for people without skills, connections, and cunning.

Hmm - I think I've discovered the universal answer!
New "Oh Lord it's hard to be humble..."

New Hehe
I made a mistake in an email to the new HR person, which was essentially telling her she made a mistake.
I caught it on review the next day.
I sent a followup:

Hi {{HR PERSON}}.

> Note: The start date cannot be correct, it says Monday, October 2, but
> October 2 is a Sunday.

Ahh, my first silly mistake . I was looking at a 2005 calendar.
Upon review I see you are right, of course.

Humbled,
{{ME}}
New And you skills connections and cunning
are what made your last job go so smoothly there at the end?

Seems to me you had a bit of bad luck forcing your move.

New In the end the best liar wins
At least for the short term. And if you can bury the bodies, you can last a very long time. My exit interview is on Friday. My current boss wants me to burn bridges - it'll help him since it is his boss that is causing the pain.

But I'm not going to. I might end up working for this guy sometime down the line, and I sure don't want his last memory of me to be me throwing grenades at him.
New never burn bridges, you might see that material again
